at home on the way.
So it is that home is not our destination,
but a way of being in the world—
not only a way of being we choose
for our way through the world,
but also the way into which
we understand ourselves to be called—
to be called home
into the time of fulfillment—
our present unfolding in the presence of God.
On that way, home will ever be, we believe,
the truest thing we ever see and know
in our going to and fro on the earth.
