I’m up to fourteen!
What if the only way for the world to be as I wish it were
is for me to be as I wish the world were?
The God we proclaim (more than the God who is)
shapes our behavior and attitude.
Our faith is one to be marked
never by the rigidity with which people are excluded,
but by the surprise of all who are.
After all, we are.
Presence won’t always change circumstance,
but loving presence
can transform circumstances it can’t change.
We are pregnant with the possibility of who God calls us to be;
we are in labor to bring us into being.
We count our days until we die.
Why would we accept the assumption that the days that count
number so many less than the days we count?
Being careful (full of care) is too risky a way to be.
