I proudly told a friend I had seven tweets.
He laughed and said he had seven tweets before breakfast!

So, would the Good Shepherd leave the one (percent) to find the 99?

Goodbyes are one of the hard parts of good—
when we don’t cheapen good by insisting it always be easy.

The Bible’s not interested in what “should be,”
but in what is, and within what is, what will be.

“What should be” is, at best, a distraction,
worse, a dissembling.

Balaam’s lesson: sometimes we only hear God
when our ass is on the line.

A friend said there really aren’t words,
but then found … enough.

Unchecked, our culture of violence,
and its oh so many sponsors,
will keep killing them
until it starts killing us.
